Those of who know me know I have a new found passion for bombing, graffiti, tags, spray paint and everything related to it. You need to check out "Flinging Pooh" AKA Rob Slack's blog. If he had been shot while doing it, people would have whined about the US government. Truth is, he would have deserved what he got. Action-Reaction. The guy is a talking contradiction. Says he doesn't believe in vandalism, but rather art and freedom of expression. Then, he spray paints an advertisement for his website on Air Force One. And that is supposed to speak to me or inspire me? What he did is not art, but a gimmick to get himself known. If he had done something interesting, maybe. Spraypainting the equivalent of a signature, is like carving you name in any table surface you sit at or wiping boogers obsessively under desks. He really didn't seem that bright. He spouted cliches in the name of freedom of expression. Not very creative. My theory...he was testing the theory of Darwinism. I would say he is a good potential candidate for the Darwin awards when he gets himself killed. No respect for this guy, because there are plenty out there who actually deserve it.
turns out it was staged anyway...he set it up...rented a plane and painted it to look like airforce one...still respect him as an artist, tho'...
